Savile Row Bespoke
Savile Row Bespoke is a description to be used only for clothing made on premises by tailors based in Savile Row.
Savile Row Bespoke Association was founded in 2004, to develop the bespoke tailoring in Savile Row and protect the interests of the occupants of Savile Row. Recently the Savile Row Bespoke Association challenged an importer in the UK over the use of the work bespoke. The chief executive of Gieves & Hawkes is the chairman of the Savile Row Bespoke Assciation.
The members of the association are Anderson & Sheppard, Davies & Sons, Huntsman & Sons, Meyer and Mortimer, Norton & Sons, Ozwald Boateng, Richard Anderson and Richard James, Dege & Skinner, Gieves & Hawkes, Hardy Amies, Henry Poole & Co. The bespoke tailors who are members of this association should be based in Savile Row or surrounding areas. Two members tailors had to leave the association since they had moved out of the road due to various reasons.
